So sad to hear about Brian, he was a very close oppo of mine for many years in the Fire Servive. We served all our time together on Red Watch.

Brian and i havent socially met Brian since we left the Fire Service but i’d regularly bump into him at the Library and the swimming pool and we’d always have a quick chat.

 Luckily a couple of months ago whilst he was cycling in Ipswich i saw him and we had a good catchup chat.

Ive attached some old photos of our happy days on the Fire Service.

One specifically of the ‘ top table ‘ although there is an interloper (Sport Graham) who managed to queeze in !

Also around the mid 80’s Brian had a midlife crisis and purchased Ford Capri which wasnt ideal but we used it for our window cleanig rounds.Anyway John Southgate decided to wind us up and posted this pic on the station notice board.

So sad that Brians life has been cut short.

Maria’s and my  sympathy and thoughts are with his family xxx
